Dear Parents,
The following points layout out the details of the parent-school contract:
1- Students must be at least 4 years old by 1st September to be accepted into the schools.
2- Registration for the new academic year starts with the beginning of the third term of this academic year on 01/05/2010, and ends by 26/06/2010. Any delay will result in a fine £20 one student, £30 two students, £40 for three students and over.
3- An-Noor girls’ school starts at 09:55 am and ends at 3:25 pm, while Al-Huda boys’ school starts at 10:10 am and ends at 3:35 pm.
4- You must inform the school of any change in your home address or telephone number.
5-Distributing advertising materials in the school premises is not allowed
6- The use of any mobile phone or device is not allowed within the school premises during school hours, and will be otherwise confiscated.
7- Jewelleries, games (electronic or otherwise) and prohibited publications are not allowed on the school premises.
8- It is important to observe Islamic guidelines in school in general, especially regarding the Hijab for girls and modesty for boys.
9- The parent has to come to the school if their child breaches the school rules to be informed in writing, if the child repeats the mistake, he will be suspended on the third time.
10- The student can not leave the school premises by himself unless there is a written permission from the parent/s.
11- Cars are not allowed to enter the premises of An-Noor girls’ school at all, at the beginning or end of school hours, you may have a badge cost £50 per a year.
12- Students must be picked up no later than 15 minutes after the end of school, there is £5 fine for each 10 minutes delay. The schools can not be held responsible for the welfare of the students outside these times.
13- Students who want to withdraw from the school after paying the fees will get refund as follows:
10% for every week the child attends the school. None of the fee payment is refundable after the end of first term.
14-The schools welcome any parents to visit, to discuss any concerns or complaints about their children’s’ education or matters in general.
15- The schools hope that the parents educate their children to respect the school property, maintain cleanliness at all times and places and to observe the school rules. It is also expected that they will follow up their children on these issues.
16- The school hopes that the parents keep track of their children’s academic progress, especially in their performance of homework.
17- The schools hope that the parents encourage and affirm the attributes of kindness, understanding, tolerance and respect with other children as well as their teachers.
